Wow!

What a week it has been! Packing, stressing, more packing. The buyers financing has gone thru so we are definitely a GO! We have 4 houses picked out in Arizona, talking to the realtor down there to see which we can go with. The kids are getting excited as are we all! I heard from my brother today, so good to get a e-mail from him so I know how he is doing. He has been deployed to Iraq for a few months now. Well life is hectic, but I have a few blog challenges from ScrapGarden.net to add.

What is the oldest television show you actually remember watching as a child? My brother and I loved watching all the old cartoon. Godzilla, Mighty Mouse, Brady Bunch just to name a few.

Why do you scrapbook? I love to let the creative juices flow and scrapping has become an all time favorite way to do this for me.

What's one subject you find hard to scrap? Myseld, I just hate any pics of me.

Who is the person you admire most? Easily that would be my brother, Billy. He has done soo much in his life. Army Reserves at age 17, Army ROTC thru college, the Army full time. He has been deployed 3 times now and gives his men his all. He has always been there for me, I just love & admire him soo much!

What a weekend!

Wow, what a weekend I had here! Friday was the start of our garage sale, the stuff just flew out of the garage, we had all kinds of people and did great in sales. Saturday the sale didn't go as crazy but we still in total made $600. We donated most of the clothes and baby needs and toys to the womens shelter and don't have too much more to get rid of. Saturday evening we sold our house! For those of you that don't know, we put our house on the market, for sale by owner and sold it in 13 days! So we are super excited and freaking out cause June 1st is very close! We are moving to Arizona, which gives us an 1800 mile move! Sunday was my son Braden's 4th birthday, what a wonderful day we had! I'll have to u/l the pics I took. He got a barn full of animals, a couple books, a truck, a new pillow, t-ball set and glove and a power wheels quad. The quad was his big birthday wish so he was in heaven! Rode it most the day! Which takes us to Monday morning, here I sit, trying to remain calm over it all, but knowing time is ticking!

The Beginning..

Well this is the beginning of Blogging for me. I will try to post daily. Tonight is just a family night, kids playing, Jonas watching tv and here I sit on the computer. I should introduce you to my 4 children, Athena is 9 and my precious daughter, Braden turns 4 in a few days and is the partner in crime to Coby whom is 2, Denzil is 10 and my oldest son. I also have 3 stepchildren that I'm sure to mention often, Willis 9, Edna soon to be 8 and Joseph who turns 7 next month. A full household we have when we are all together! Right now we reside in Iowa, but have a big move in the near future 1800 miles to Arizona. Well, need to get the kids settled down for bed soon, more tomorrow.
